Sustainable Forestry Investments B.V. started in 2001 as a pilot project and has grown to 10.000 ha planted with additional investments.
Sustainable Forestry Invements B.V. is a holding company based in the Netherlands, with two subsidiairies:

Form Ghana Ltd. is large teak company in Ghana.

SFI Tanzania ltd. is a leading sisal company in Tanzania.
Together almost 20.000 ha of degraded land is already restored.

Executive team
Robert Bolier - CEO
Mr. Bolier is the CEO of Sustainable Forestry Investments BV. He has an Economics degree of the University of Amsterdam and is a Fellow of CIMA and fellow of the ICAEW. Robert has over 30 years international experience in industrial companies, managing international teams and a track record in securing funding.
Folkert Jan Jager - CFO
Mr. Jager is Chief Financial Officer of Sustainable Forestry Investments. He holds an MSc in International Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics and has over 25 years of experience as CFO/Finance Director in various international companies and a NGO operating in Africa. He is responsible for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the group companies.
Jan van der Sijde - COO
Mr. van der Sijde holds an MSc. degree in Forest Management from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa as well as an MBA degree from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He has over 30 years of management experience in the (agro)forestry plantation industry and has worked in South Africa, Mozambique and Laos. He also participated in forestry projects in Ghana, Angola, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Malawi and Congo. Mr. van der Sijde is in charge to lead SFI Tanzania and SFI Ghana.
